Challenge
How can we take all the relevant information we create for doctors and design a dashboard to be understood in just a few seconds?

What is it?
A web application for doctors, nurses and researchers to monitor patients who are using the gpskin App and/or gpskin Barrier.

The Problem
Doctors are busy people and the introduction of our technology would mean that utilizing our tools would cut into their already hectic schedules. They wanted to use our products, but wouldn’t be able to do so unless it took just seconds to use.

The Goal
Create an easy-to-use checklist where patients can easily input their treatment plans.

Gathering Feedback
Doctors and researchers constantly requested a platform in which they could monitor all the patients (and subjects) they were measuring from a single place.
So we devised a system called gpskin Pro that would allow any number of users to be linked to a single admin, so that the admin could have access to all the data being collected by the users.

Creating Personas
We began by defining the personas of the users we were serving.
Persona 1: Dr. Kim the Doctor
Dr. Kim is a very busy doctor and only has a few seconds to analyze the data presented to her.
Persona 2: Ms. Lee the Nurse
Nurse Lee isn’t as busy as Dr. Lee, but needs to be able to understand the data easily and quickly.
Persona 3: Dr. Ahn the Researcher
For Dr. Ahn, it isn’t as much about being in a hurry - it’s about quality of data. Dr. Ahn wants to be able to see very detailed information such as time of measurements, weather, pollution, temperature and humidity.

Modules
We knew that the design needed to be flexible to accommodate a wide range of requests and devices, so our team agreed that we would create a set of modules that could use tailored to the user’s needs.

Information Structure
We also had preliminary feedback that the basic information such as patient name, age and gender needed to be seen with the first glance.
Below would be information that was more detailed, such as measurement times, products applied, and pollution levels.

Prototyping
Then, I designed prototype to present to key stakeholders and to give my developers a reference point for UX.

Feedback
My team presented these prototypes to a nurse, doctor and researcher and the overall feedback was positive and informed us we were on the right track. Areas of improvement were UI, using more colors, and the ability to download the data in an Excel sheet.
