Hi, I’m a first generation Korean American living in Los Angeles. I enjoy being active, eating great food, trying new things, and traveling.

I also love being a product designer. We hold amazing potential (and responsibility) to delight people and I’m lucky to call it my career. Currently designing calls for WhatsApp.

Product Designer: Oct 2021–Present

  • Lead the Calls tab and new features such as favorites, dialer, call links, scheduling calls and more

  • Design for Android & iOS, mobile & desktop, old & new operating systems, 40+ languages, and a vast range of demographics

  • Incorporate HIG, Material and WhatsApp Design Systems, user research, end-to-end encryption, and minimal data

  • Contributor to WhatsApp Design Systems: context menu, icons, list items

CREXI — LOS ANGELES, CA
Senior Product Designer: Dec 2019–Sep 2021

  • Lead design and user experience for the company’s first mobile app. Starting with iOS. Contributing on SwiftUI too

  • Grow the comps and insights subscription product, “Intelligence”, in views by 2x and in subscriptions by 300%

  • Create user journey maps, generating user empathy and informing company-wide decisions
